A rainy Saturday in the Garage

I picked this photo because, despite Blake's shirt, all three of my children are failing on a proper salute. Michael is falling prey to 2-handed-maybe-they-won't-notice-if-I-also-scratch-my-nose, while Blake is doing a complete facial cross-over, and Ellie has her fingers together directly pointing at her head in some sort of Vulcan mind-reading format.

Garage days with dad are great!

Michael and Dave made this rather extraordinary boat out of huge pieces of styrofoam that I begged off a furniture store in town. It's actually pretty sea-worthy, and boasts a trap-door in the middle if you look carefully. This sort of thing is so indicative of Michael. The top of the ship can also hold his favorite toy--the styrofoam glider--which, I guess, makes the vessel an aircraft carrier.

Also noteworthy is Blake flexing for the camera.

Anyone have any ideas what we should do with a 4-foot-long non-recyclable craft?

Wow! That boat is most impressive (and the liahona from last post)--you both are so creative.
