We were the first Sunbeam to give the scripture and prayer in Primary. We were also the cutest Sunbeam, and the Sunbeam who stuck his finger in his nose the least.
We made a crafty Liahona for Michael's talk. After a brilliant delivery, Ellie pushed her way to the Primary podium for her turn.
We also again realized that it is absolutely impossible to take a picture of all 3 of my children.
Note: spray paint is the best route for the Liahona. And yes, that's a chopstick coming out of the top.
Michael is a real memorizer, which is quite convenient since he's 5 and can't quite read yet. So we say his talk a million times at home until he knows it by heart. The side effect of this is that both other kids know it too (Ellie is a SPONGE!!). But, at 26 months, Ellie's brain had morphed the text to this, "One morning Lehi found something mysterious on the ground. It was a round ball, with two sparklies in it." (it's supposed to be spindles). I guess she's not that far off, since I used a lot of glitter.

Can I please get a better picture of that Liahona? It's genius and I may need to recreate it for sharing time.
Every time people talk about Liahonas I think of Christensen. Like the royal "we".
You and your children are such over-achievers! My guess is that by the time Che is old enough to give a talk in primary, I'll be lucky to get his finger out of his nose at all, much less get him to memorize it. I'll be whispering "Lehi found the Liahona" in his ear and he'll be saying "Levi found the Lee a mona."
But seriously, nice Liahona!
