Items from my pocket #3

One more time for the premise: I walk around all day picking stuff up (in a vain attempt to clean), and mostly putting things in my pockets. It's a problem, I know.

Nut: From taking off Michael's training wheels--hooray for 2 wheeling!

Grocery List: Leftover in my pants from Thanksgiving dinner shopping.

Priority Mail sticker: I had to return some books that were sent to me as part of a children's book club (and one more time I promise that I will never be suckered into joining something for a stack of free books) when I, of course, forgot to decline the monthly selection and received $40 worth of board books. Here in Sonoma County, there are neighborhood post offices in stores and banks, and the people are MUCH nicer than the ones I usually find working in the official post offices. On this day, the worker gave each of my kids a Priority Mail sticker to wear on their shirts (until they tore it off and handed it to me).

Bottle cap: Straight from a bottle of Martinelli's leftover from Thanksgiving. My kids call it "spicy juice."

Plastic credit card: This had somehow migrated to my kitchen table from Ellie's cash register in her room. And just to show how realistic it looks, I came very close to attempting to use it to buy movie tickets. Dave and I went to see Dan in Real Life and we LOVED it. (Dave is also almost an obsessive Steve Carrell fan). I could have used about 5 more minutes in the movie, and I don't feel that way often (maybe that's because most movies I see are animated. . . )
