- GRAMMA: Let's turn off the TV so I don't turn you into a vegetable. MICHAEL: Mom! Gramma said she was going to turn us into vegetables.
- ME: Welcome to Family Council. Does anyone have news or something they would like to share?" BLAKE: "Toys. . . and books."
- ME: Blake, I'm holding the rest of your juice box. Tell me if you want more later." BLAKE (immediately): "I want more later."
- ME: Michael, you need to stop eating chips and start eating your sandwich or I will have to cut you off." MICHAEL (with lower lip trembling) "Don't cut me mom."

You do live in a beautiful area. How fun to see a picture of Karen, she looks the same!
Strawberry picking and jam making are some of my favorite Memorial Day traditions...we only wish a Grandma would come to join us for such an occasion!
