Musical Prodigy?
When Ellie was about 21 months, she figured out that the "ABC Song," "Twinkle, Twinkle," and "Baa, Baa Black Sheep" were all ready the same tune with different words. (She did not figure out that the tune's composer is Mozart, but give her some time). She started telling me to sing "ABC" and she would sing the words for "Twinkle" simultaneously. I thought that was quite clever.
Today she butted me off the piano when I was trying to brush up on some Christmas music. I heard her from the kitchen, banging on the keys and shouting, "I like to move it, move it." On the fourth repitition (appropriately), she would call to me, "Mommy, you say MOVE IT!"
Maybe it's less prodigy and more bossy.
