Just a leisurely Thursday evening working (frittering) at the computer late at night when sirens get louder with the distinct sound of a chopper overhead. And I mean directly overhead.

If you live in the Bay Area and get your kicks out of local news, you might have heard this story. A boy led police on a 3 hour car chase from SF Civic Center to, you guessed it. . . our neighborhood!! Somewhere between Petaluma and Santa Rosa all 4 of his tires were flattened but he still managed to lead police on a chase at a top speed of 25 mph, driving on his rims.

It was a little OJ-ish here. Since it was such a low speed chase and he kept turning around, people lined the streets and waved.

In retrospect, it's a bit funny, but not so much at midnight when there is a SWAT chopper directly over your house.
