READ MY LIPS

Our kids love playing "read my lips." They mouth something and Dave or I has to guess what it was.

One of our favorite times Ellie stopped mouthing words and just wiggled her tongue for a minute very intensely, then asked Dave to guess what she had said.

About 95% of the time, they mouth the words "I love you," so that's usually a pretty safe guess.

Today at the Yogurt Store, Blake and Ellie were mouthing "I love you" and playing "Read my lips." Then Blake turned to me and told me to guess what he was saying. I stared at his mouth and admitted, "I have no idea."

Blake's answer: "Pinnochio Uchtdorf"

Now how did I miss that?

I LOVE Blake's fascination with Uchdorf. Did you sit down and watch Pinoccio with the kids? I did and I was FREAKED out. I don't remember it being that weird. Thankfully Ashley didn't notice the little boys in the movie smoking cigars and making all the "donky" references.

As the Gramma who provided all the questionable Pinnochio dvds I sincerely promise to preview any and all future gifts. Just goes to prove that smacking a Disney label on something doesn't mean it is appropriate for my darlings.
