Look what we did. . .
Meet the newest member of our family. Ellie named her "Samantha" and the boys (dad included) named her "Tuna." Which do you think stuck?
We have discovered that Tuna is very sweet and likes company and cuddles.
We have also discovered that Ellie is mildly allergic to cats. How's that for good parenting?
We're going to give it a week, and if Ellie isn't doing better, we're hopefully going to find a local cat refuge (friend's house) where we can visit often.
Maybe we'll have to revisit the turtle idea.

That's funny, a turtle was second in line to a furry friend. We're still deciding if we're keeping the furball. We're so on the same page.
oh get a bunny. Cuddly, can be neglected, only have to clean the cage once a week! Plus, they are allergen free. Ours lives in the garage. She gets held about once a week and is happy. Make sure you get a baby so she learns to be carried around by your kids.
Cute kitten! I can't remember what it even feels like to have a pet around. I am on board with Paige, get a bunny!

PS Glen is also allergic to cats and is even more severely allergic to rabbits...so apparently they're not all allergen free.
